Support The

Captain’s Initiative

The Southern University Alumni Federation - Washington, DC Chapter (SUAF-WDC) Chapter members and friends of the Chapter have accepted the charge from the SUAF-WDC President to raise funds to support the work and mission of our illustrious alumni chapter. Under the leadership of our First Vice President, funds are being raised primarily through the collection of donations, the purchase of ads for our Mardi Gras Ball digital souvenir journal, and sponsorship.

Click on the tabs below to learn more about the ways you can support the Captain's Initiative.

Interested in Becoming a Fundraising Captain? Click HERE to learn more about the initiative, and then fill out the Get Involved form and select "Fundraising Captain" for Chapter Engagement option. The First Vice President will email you a copy of the Captain’s Initiative Informational Packet that includes pertinent information to help you get started raising funds.

Thank you in advance for your participation, generosity, and contribution.

Fundraising Captains and SUAF-WDC Chapter members, in general, are selling ads for the 2024 Mardi Gras Ball Digital Souvenir Journal. Ads range from $15 - $125.
