The Southern University Alumni Federation - Washington, DC Chapter 2024 Mardi Gras Ball Planning Team will produce a digital souvenir journal to accompany the event. The journal will feature chapter highlights, letters from dignitaries, scholarship recipients, fundraising captains, sponsors, and ads.

The digital souvenir journal is an excellent medium for large and small businesses to promote their brand, service, or product, while clubs and organizations can take advantage of the journal space to recruit members and enhance their visibility.

Individuals and families are also encouraged to place an ad to commend the SUAF-WDC chapter, recognize specific chapter members, or memorialize a loved one who was connected to the chapter or to Southern University amongst other things. The Mardi Gras Ball Planning Team welcomes your support and creativity to ensure the souvenir journal is impactful, high-quality, diverse, and engaging! Ad details are provided below.

Full Page - 8 1/2” x 11” for $125

Half Page - 8 1/2” x 5.5” for $75 - no longer available

Quarter Page - 4.25” x 5.5” for $50 - no longer available

Business Card - 3.5” x 2” for $30 - no longer available

Patron - Name only for $15

Purchase Ad

  1. Payments must be submitted electronically. Click here to remit payment.

  2. You will be prompted to complete a form to provide your contact information, acknowledge if you are supporting a particular fundraising captain, and indicate your ad preference.

  3. Please consult with your preferred fundraising captain for alternative arrangements for remitting payment or contact Dr. Ivory Berry, SUAF-WDC President.

  4. Kindly note that ad purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  5. Submission of artwork is not required to remit payment. Artwork may be submitted prior to the deadline.

Submit Artwork

  1. Artwork must be submitted via email here in one of the following acceptable formats: PDF, PNG, or JPEG. Please consult with your preferred fundraising captain for assistance with submitting your ad.

  2. Images should be high resolution to produce optimal quality.

  3. Text only submissions are acceptable. Appropriate artwork will be added at the discretion of the graphic designer, if requested.

  4. Content must be appropriate: no vulgarity, lewd images, or other inappropriate text.

  5. Deadline for Purchasing and Submitting Ad Artwork:

    • Updated: 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, January 31, 2024

    • Early submission of artwork is highly suggested.

    • Kindly note that artwork submitted after the deadline will not be published and refunds will not be issued.
