Bluff Bound: A Southern Send-Off

As we prepare to send our DMV students off to Southern University, the Southern University Alumni Federation Washington, DC Chapter Student Relations Committee is asking alumni, supporters, and friends to help make this transition a little easier.

Through Bluff Bound: A Southern Send-Off, we will celebrate and support incoming freshmen from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia as they begin their journey on The Bluff.

We are seeking monetary donations to support our students as they prepare for this exciting new chapter. Your contribution, regardless of the amount, will help ensure our students feel welcomed, encouraged, and supported by the Southern family before they leave for Baton Rouge. Donations will be used to purchase gift cards from Walmart and Amazon—both of which are easily accessible to students on campus—to assist with move-in and dorm room essentials for the semester.
