Dear Southern University Alums of the DMV region,

This past year, the Southern University Alumni Federation – Washington, DC Chapter, did something incredible. In the history of this Chapter, alums came together and officially joined the chapter to the tune of 182 members! That is the highest level of financial membership we have ever achieved! The members represent all the Southern University System campuses. For those of you who signed up during FY 22-23, with the deepest gratitude, thank you!

July 1 begins our new fiscal year and SUAF-WDC is not satisfied to stop breaking records! If you were unaware, there are over 1,500 Southern University alums in this region. We strongly encourage each alum to consider becoming a member for FY 23-24 by officially joining or rejoining the Chapter as a paid financial member. The Chapter has aggressive goals to assist students from the DMV to get a high-quality education at Southern University. While the current members are doing their part to make it happen, the students stand a greater chance of achieving their dreams with your help!

Southern University stands as the only Historically Black College and University (HBCU) with a system of campuses that offer opportunities for our people to achieve their dreams. The SUAF-WDC is doing incredible work within the local community and in support of our beloved Southern University. The Southern University System and SUAF-WDC are both stronger with you as a member.

Join us for a year of support, fellowship, and networking in the SUAF-WDC Chapter. Annual chapter dues are $50. SU alumni and friends are welcome to join our chapter or renew your membership

March 1, 2023 and June 30, 2023.
